Personally Preventing Animal CrueltyOne major aspect in preventing animal cruelty is to adopt an animal. Animal adoption organizations - the Humane Society, etc. - are easy to find which makes adopting an animal very simple. When adopting an animal, there is most generally an adoption fee that will go towards helping all of the other animals that have not yet been adopted. Another way to personally prevent animal cruelty is to call a local animal organization when animal cruelty is witnessed. Animals are left astray too much. When seeing an animal with out a collar that is wondering around helplessly, one needs to either get the animal and start caring for it or call a local animal shelter. Turning the other cheek is not an option in this situation.
