This is a quick and easy approach to administering medications to your pets eyes.

To medicate a dog or cats eyes you'll want to tilt the head toward the ceiling, with a large dog I like to straddle the body so that I'm standing behind the dogs head. Eye medications will be either a liquid or ointment either way you'll administer the medication the same way. Pull down the lower lid of the eye and administer the dose into the cupped tissue of the lower lid. When you let go of the lower lid the medicine will spread over the eye naturally when the pet blinks. This method is quick and the patient generally allows the medication to be delivered without to much of a battle.
