The makers of Eukanuba and Iams have recalled 60 million containers of pet food.
Store Brand's of canned dog and cat food sold through Walmart, Kroger, and Safeway is being recalled due to reports of kidney failure and death after eating the product. The manufacture is unsure how or why this is happening. Tests have been done on the foods and a cause for the sickness has not been found.
The recall is of the “cuts and gravy” type foods sold in cans and pouches and covers foods sold between 12/3 and 3/6 throughout the US, Mexico, and Canada.
