» Trouble318 - False pregnancy??

My 10 month old Pit Bull is acting strange. Ever since her heat in August/September her nipples have been enlarged. She has gained no weight at all and hasn't slowed down a bit. I didn't breed her, but am afraid another dog may have gotten to her during her heat. Could she have a false pregnancy?

could be, but it's not unusual for an intact female to have enlarged nipples after going through heat. How enlarged is enlarged?

If you don't plan to breed the best bet is always to spay her. She'll be healthier and if the enlarged nipples bug you they'll probably go down after the surgery.
